’ve lived in several states, growing up close to the Long Island beaches, moving to Texas, and ultimately settling in North Carolina, the state that is by far my favorite.
When our family relocated to beautiful Western North Carolina three years ago, I took on a traditional 9-5 with mandatory overtime and no flexibility. I’ve held supervisor positions over the last 11 years never feeling quite fulfilled. Even worse, I
had little to no time to do the things I loved: explore a new town, visit a brewery or winery, hike a beautiful mountain trail, take a long weekend to visit family – you get the idea.
I wanted my own business in which I could balance my home and work life with more ease and
less stress. I took a leap of faith and decided I would start my own adventure. Six years ago, I took on ride sharing with Uber and Lyft as a way to make “fun money funds”. And since I loved being able to meet new people and share my knowledge about the local area, I figured I could build a company around the things I love to do.
So my newest adventure is a premium car service, Blue Ridge Lifts, which allows me to meet new people and show off what
WNC and its breathtaking Blue Ridge mountain views have to offer! My Family and friends would say I am a gregarious guy and they can vouch for how much I enjoy sharing my tips on the best spots to visit. My family and I love exploring our hometowns and we can often be found trying out new restaurants, hiking different trails, scoping out holes in the walls to learn about all the best spots.
